Red Blood Cells (RBCs or erythrocytes) in Vessel #8

Red Blood Cells (RBCs or erythrocytes) are discoid cells that have lost their nuclei and have become specialised sacs carrying haemoglobin. Haemoglobin (hemoglobin) binds oxygen and carbon dioxide and ferries them around the circulation.
