Carbon

Carbon atoms (symbol C, atomic number 6) in various configurations. Carbon exists in various allotropes: diamond (a tetrahedral crystal), graphite (hexagonal stacked sheets, with a single sheet called graphene), soot (amorphous carbon), and nanotubes and Bucky Balls (Buckminsterfullerene).
