Water molecule, H2O #19
Water molecules consist of one atom of oxygen (red) bonded to two atoms of hydrogen (green), hence H2O. The oxygen tends to hog the electrons, making water a polar molecule. This polarity causes the molecules to clump together, which accounts for the peculiar attributes of water.
