Beam of Light Striking a Moving Corner Cube Reflector
Beam of light strikes a corner cube (three plane reflectors all at 90 degrees to each other). Each surface bounces the light beam back in one axis. When the beam has bounced off all three surfaces it has been reversed in all three axes and so travels back parallel to its original direction. Corner-cube reflectors are found in the red reflectors at the back of cars.

Sunlight Striking Rain Drop1970-01-01T00:00:00+00:00Sunlight from upper left beams into a simulated water droplet. The light is refracted and reflected by the droplet. Shorter wavelengths of light are refracted more, causing a dispersion of colours. Each colour is shown in sequence, rather than mixed as...PT30Shttps://d38zjy0x98992m.cloudfront.net/12ff7222-66ef-4994-8985-702e99754eea/RAINBOW_Water_Drop_265_xlarge.jpghttps://d38zjy0x98992m.cloudfront.net/12ff7222-66ef-4994-8985-702e99754eea/RAINBOW_Water_Drop_265_mp4_hd_video.mp4https://www.scientific.pictures/media/12ff7222-66ef-4994-8985-702e99754eea/pricehttps://www.scientific.pictures/media/12ff7222-66ef-4994-8985-702e99754eea/price
